That depends if we are talking about the USA models or the EU models.

KS7000EU = KS8000NA

If EU model, the 7000 and the 8000 have identical panels, just the build around it is different so not worth the money.

I'm guessing the KS7000 in NA is equal to the KS6400 in the EU or something.

In which case it is definately worth the money to go for the KS7000, it has a true 10 bit panel, is capable of very good HDR as opposed to the KS6400 and also the refresh rate is better

Samsung has the 10bit panel, while Sony has a technology that fakes 14bit or something on those lines

I have found the XE9005 for 100 bucks less, though
