the price of eth and a bunch of altcoins needs to fall quite a bit further. the massive buying of new cards has stopped, but I don't think mining is unprofitable yet, there'll be a lot of people still mining to pay off their cards. Some miners are selling cards, but they're still above retail MSRP for new ones (lol) - those are the ones who've already paid them off and want to get out early.

I found a dude on eBay selling a RX480 for equivalent $20 (approx.) USD, saying he used it for mining and had no idea what happened but it stopped working.
The dude must've tugged the PCIe cable or something out, because when I plugged it into my motherboard, it worked.
Feels pretty good. I'm not expecting a long lifespan though, but $20 for a 480 is bretty gud
