Wow,
just forced myself to use vim instead of sublime or visual code for a project. This shit feels comfy as fuck.
Til now only gotten used to really really simple tasks in vim, but when you get used to more stuff this feels fuckin good.
Thank you /g/

You're welcome desu. It indeed feels comfy. I still use it for editing systems and my git commits but use sublime for code dev.
It's indeed very comfy and it feels right at home with alot of editing tasks. It's a good tool to keep in the toolbox. I use it as well as a combo of other editors... whichever suits the task and feels most comfy.

This makes sense

Even Facebook gets that they bet on the wrong horse with nuclide.
Forced myself to use EVIL mode with Spacemacs after year of using default Emacs keybindings. Caught myself never exiting edit mode because inside it it's the same as old Emacs. How do I fully embrace it? Should I be using (neo)vim for some time instead?

glad you like it. I use vim as my main editor and have gotten to the point where I can do more faster than I have been able to do in any editor I have previously learned and I keep learning more.

You were saying?
vim is shit t.b.h. a bloated vi and vi is a wrong evolution of ed. Just use ed or sam.
