So I hoped to buy this when I had the money but last I had checked Amazon it was only $889, and now it's $1189. I've been looking everywhere for it being sold cheaper and not on Amazon but have had no luck. How long should I have to wait before it comes down to at least $950? Or, is there an alternative that I can get before the middle of August along the " """""gaming""""" laptop that doesn't ostracize you for owning it" gimmick?

I would but I have nowhere to house it without it getting destroyed (no desk or flat area to call my own at all given times). And I know I could get it generally cheaper, and for quite a while I had thought of building a PC, but I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of that and possibly fucking up horribly.
