I backup my data cause shit man with the way torrents are dieng left and right and who the hell knows if say some show I torrented like 4 years ago will even still exist as a torrent if say i didn't have backups and my server crashed. My /home/me/private folder is a 64 GB encrypted filesystem (I have full disk encrypted but this one is separate). I use this for all personal files except for personal video files because that's just too big. Everything I've created myself is there. I back a snapshot of this (the entire container) to two external harddrives monthly. I also back it up to four USB sticks and two SD cards monthly (all encrypted), 3 of which are home and 3 are in a different location (the reason is that I can update the 3 here, go to the other location and just switch the media and update the other 3 when I get home). I also backup the personal videos folder to the external harddrives.

Thoughts on this, improvements I should do?

And no, I'm not backing up my collection of movies and things downloaded from the Internet. First of all, that's just too big and secondly, I could probably re-download it all. Files I've made myself, pictures I've taken and so on, on the other hand, can't just be re-created.
