Some other things Ethereum does is allow you to make your own 'coin', so you can write up a contract to personalize some ETH tokens and declare them your own cryptocurrency. So in other words a bank could make ETHUSD, which means a trading program can now do automatic trades in ETHUSD->ETHEUR or whatever. It's a lot like Bitcoin ColoredCoins but done with exploitable contracts instead so somebody can steal all your token in the future, causing ETH to simply fork itself again and avoid paying out hackers of contracts.
