So i bought this USB to BT 4.0 device to connect my controller to the PC when i play some shit, but i have one question, should i plug it only when i play games with the controller or should i leave it plugged in somewhere in the back panel usb ports? Whats the kind of power a device like this can use if its on 24/7(but most of the time without any device plugged in), it has some power saving shit wrote on the cover so maybe not that much?
Just unplug it if you don't need it.

Doesn't plugging and unplugging shit constantly ruin your ports? Or so i heard
Shop around you can get a four port USB PCI Card with a fifth port on the internal part of the card, then you can just plug it in an forget if that's your preferance or set-it up so when you walk over to the PC with your bluetooth on your phone the PC unlocks.

It will cost roughly $1 USD per year to have this plugged int 24/7.
If you value your time at minimum wage if you spend more that 10 minutes, plugging and unplugging the device in a year you are at a loss.

this. a bluetooth usb dongle consumes nearly nothing, since it only is on the 2.4ghz band, which is very very low energy.
