Could you not have just got the Oculus? no need for holes in the wall and you save a couple hundred bucks. Better screen and touch controllers.

Just google it. There's so many options since they use standard camera mounts. These poles are good option. Some people say use 3M tape but I wouldn't recommend it because of vibration.

You need to stick holes in the walls and then run USB extenders if you want tracking close to what the Vive can offer. Also the screens are nearly identical. Oculus just opts for less FoV so it's a little sharper but their optics are arguably worse with a dimmer output and far worse god rays. Go Oculus if you want to save. Also the Touch controllers advantages are lost on many games since devs cater to the more popular SteamVR and less Oculus native titles.
