Definitely. I fixed my old GTX 260 doing this. What do you have to lose?

I used 180C for 5 minutes, so try that first. If it doesn't work, gradually increase the temperature and/or duration.

Oh, and this should be obvious, but you need to take the heatsink off before you try this.

Make sure the card is chip-side-up on the baking tray.

Hold the card away from the baking tray using some non-flammable objects (I used hex nuts) placed in positions where they're not in contact with any components (IE they should touch the PCB or end mount, and NOTHING else).

It might start working again. That might be temporary. This is not at all a reliable method to "fix."

You can really n-word it up by baking it long enough to get it working again and then selling it second-hand to recover some value. Depends how scummy you are.

I did this with my identical 280x, but I used a 1100°f annealing kiln for about 5 seconds
Worked fine for about 2 months before it died again, roasting it didnt help the second time.

SAC305 goes liquidus at 220degC. I recommend staying close-ish to a proper reflow profile. And also as >>61247868 said, dedicating an oven to the purpose.
