Try the Chan Burauza app. I use it occasionally and I like it just as well as Clover, and it has a lot more features and can browse multiple image board sites. The layout takes some getting used to but I'd recommend it. No sure if it's open source or not (doesn't really matter anyways since your entire OS runs on non-free libraries).
