Why does Linux not really have any good music players? The only GUI-based one I've found that's halfway decent is Clementine, but there's really nothing comparable to MusicBee, Foobar or Winamp. It seems ridiculous to run a music player in Wine but I'm almost at that point.

what's the issue with vlc?
What do you want to do with a player clementine does almost everything great.

cmus + dropdown terminal is pretty good.
What do you look for in a music player that you haven't found?
> needs GUI
> to play music
> won't try anything cli
> missing out on mpd
foobar looks like a dumbed down version of rhythmbox.
