But it is a legitimate problem, if you "fuck off" you lose out of modern APIs that Microsoft locks behind their new OS such as DirectX.

Cry about "muh games" all you want, but being locked out of features because you don't want to sell your first born to use a modern graphics API sucks. Microsoft has no technical reason to be an honest company, but people are completely in their right to try and demand Microsoft not be scumbags.

I would be spending all day listening to other peoples' opinions then.

I think most of us here already understand a lot, if not most, of the privacy issues concerning Windows 10. Just because someone might bring up a point we haven't heard before doesn't mean we all need to watch a two and a half hour video (especially considering if it was a typed opinion piece we could probably read it in 20 minutes instead).
