It sucks that I have to use several chat "apps" to talk to all my friends because some refuse to move to other programs, or other insist on switching to new ones.
So now I've got Steam, Skype, Discord, IRC, Wire and Messenger on the go.

Why do people use whatsup facebookmessenger, signal, twitter-DMs, etc... when SMS is built into the phone infrastructure, universal, etc... and unlimited on pretty much every phone plan.

They dont cost money on any decent plan, and while its by no means elegant, you can do group chat with them if you input multiple people to the "to" field.
