ITT: old components that still serve you good.
I have to put my Q6600 here. I am ki.da suprised to be honest how well it aged. I am even considering to build it into my next PC (well I am pretty poor and it still holds its ground after all)
A cheapo WD Green that's around eight years old now. It's still perfectly functional, so it serves as my chinese cartoon storage device.

Not that old but I use a 7950, the fan power port died and it has been baked once but it still werks.

if your mobo has a 4 pin fan connector you can use that, or a 3 pin but it'll run at full speed

I have a 3 pin, the original cooler was way too loud so I swapped the cooler to 2 case fans. It works pretty good, the temps are pretty much the same but way quieter.

Same CPU height here, brother. Quad core FTW. Use it every day, gayming too. CSGO beast.
I have a 10 year old Seagate that gets spun up every day. Not the main drive, - and it did have a SMART error for a couple of years. However, that error is gone now, all green again. No other problems.
