if you mean the yellow plastic that is optional and easy to remove,i use it without it.

Keyboard itself is great,browns are smooth
and PBT keycaps are on the way

Its ok, but kind of shit.
Be careful with that usb port, it is really prone to breaking.
Mine lies broken here. Well I could fix it with some soldering, but I just bought an actually quality keyboard instead.
