If you play games and have a decent CPU go 144Hz. Even regular desktop usage feels much smoother.

I've always wanted a 1440p 144Hz monitor because it's more balanced, and it takes around the same amount of power to render it at 144fps at 1440p to 4k 60Hz if you just go off the pixels/s
