OP, just like PV cells and lithium batteries, with every doubling of the manufacturing capacity, price falls by 20%.

That's variable, not s much this year.
Most chink services with TBs of storage canceled those plans and took the storage back.
4 TB HDD can be found easily for less than $100.
Though I bought a 2 TB drive for $60 in 2009/2010 before the Asian floods of factories raised prices. They are just about the same price today.
