How do i set up multiple view "profiles" in Xcode for

i have a png image i'm using in a view, and it has to be different dimensions to look normal on different screen sizes. is there any way to do that?

Vary for Traits sounds like what you want here, but if you know what are you doing with that and already tried it not sure what else you could do except cheating and hardcoding for devices/orientations.

here's what i did

>click vary for traits
>size the png the way i need it
>update to suggested constraints
>quit varying for traits

but it doesn't work. looks fine in the view i just did it for, but not the others that i supposedly varied for their constraints earlier. am i doing it wrong?

Not really sure, but I'd guess using the update to suggested constraints is doing something wrong (it almost always does for me on macOS, not sure about iOS).
