>look at Youtube videos of $200 laptop reviews
>comments are full of people unironically asking if they can play GTA 5, run Photoshop and edit music files at the same time using aforementioned laptops
Why are some people such goddamn cheapskates?
GTA 5 unironically costs more than that laptop, kek
Would you rather them asking if it was fast enough to install gentoo?

Poorfags think they're entitled to everything for nothing when neither they nor their ancestors have done anything to deserve it.

For the same reason that people post frogs:
They're idiots.

My $200 netbook running Photoshop 7 and editing music with OpenMPT can do that. Can't play much more than 2D indie crap and emulators though.

I used to use gimp on a 100 dollar netbook. Is Photoshop that bloated and poorly optimized that it can't run on an actual laptop?

Ok, I suppose low spec laptops may be able to run Photoshop, but I think video editing is out of the question.

Really old versions can.

Audio editing is possible, video editing probably not. I wouldn't even want to try installing premiere on my netbook.

You could edit 640x480 video (the human eye can't see anymore anyways so what's the point)

breaking news: the world is poor. if you earn 30k a year in the US you are top 1%.

You can edit 1080p videos on a 20 dollar smartphone. I don't understand where people get the idea that it is impossible to do so on a older laptop.

those are probably using different programs. a bloated windows program would not work on any phone.
The sad thing is that GTA5 can run on those. It ain't gonna be 4K 144Hz, but it works. You can get that shit running on Intel Atoms if you know how to use custom settings.

Premiere CS6 runs on a Core2Duo and can edit 1080p no problem
