I need a good recommendation for a streaming radio player for linux. I have rhythmbox installed right now, but I'm looking for something a little flashier, with a hackerish looking UI and maybe some visualization plugins. I was thinking WinAmp, but it doesn't look like theres a linux version :(
WinAmp is great. There are zero (0) exploits present in the latest release.
Audacious is pretty good, VLC also.

Damn you OP, I've been posting this Audacious skin since I learn about it but you didn't find it in a google search, here you go https://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Winamp+Classic+skin+for+Audacious?content=135799
Pic is Audacious with that skin

Foobar2000 can do UPNP server with a plugin, you can control it or stream from it or whatever. I have one set up at home, I stream my entire library from it at work.
