They're all made in china anyway, and they tend to make them compliant just so they can sell them abroad.
Now they probably won't be the cream of the crop and you might have some failures more than normal, but it's perfectly safe at least.

Except when it comes to high voltage stuff. you can still buy HV chink stuff but you really need to be careful.

Overall the quality is good. I wish I had ordered a smaller print as it looks slightly low res when you look close up. It looks like the chinks tried to blow up a much smaller image into a larger one in a panic. When far away it looks good though. Better than anything I could have printed myself with the same materials.

I personally used one of those $0.69 lapel mics to make an improvised headset for a while. I just took one of the wire cable ties that it was packaged with and taped it to the microphone wire so that it would be stiff and I could adjust it to be comfortably in front of my mouth. If you do this, you may want to buy a few of the lapel mics, because quality control kind of sucks on them, so some may work fine while others have to be unnaturally close to your mouth in order to pick anything up.

GPD haven't released official Linux support for the Pocket yet, you might want to hold out for now. Some guys have tried running Linux on it unofficially but have experienced network problems on it. The Win can run Linux at the moment but it's also not official, network is working though.
Can't comment on the keyboard as it's thumb keyboard vs squashed finger keyboard layout. I would personally prefer the Win's keyboard but guys with the Pocket seem content with the keyboard.
