is it safe to enable samba 1.0 again on my pcs so i can access them from my phone?

since i disabled it i cant browse the shares on my phone cause it uses 1.0 i think, im using the asus file manager app, is there any better ones for android that lets you browse samba shares, solid explorer is good but i cant browse shares from it

Sure samba 3 is out, but any android file explorer only seems to support samba 1, when I turn off samba 1 it stops working

plenty of sftp file browsers for android if your server has ssh access.
