Also Firefox now has multiprocess arch which is nice

The link says that it's outdated.
LOL, definitely doa.
>>

block scripts'n'shit, and use as a light-weight browser in addition to firefox.

use case example:
you use firefox for normielife™ accounts and shit, and use ungoogled chromium for porn and 4chan etc. when you want privacy separation between browsers and your session saved (shit you won't get with incognito/private-window)

Sure, you could say use Brave for that case instead, but Brave is turning into an advertisement shill kike faggot browser.
>>
>>61005373
which link?

you mean dead on arrival?
>>
>>61004699
Don't bother. 99% of /g/ has no fucking clue about technology and will continue to parrot whatever group opinion they adopted months if not years ago. The very idea of checking things out or doing research themselves appalls them.
>>
>>61005410
Thanks for that.

Not sure why I got my hopes up about infamous 4chan's /g/. I guess there's bound to be some serious wizards among the kids in here, but perhaps I should take my queries to jim-cuck's 8chn instead (*sudder*).

Before I go, may I have your thoughts on this? >>61004493
>>
>>61004699

False sense of security luring normies into feeding their data to the botnet.
>>
>>61005542
but how? if it is audited enough then what's the issue?
>>
>>61005552
>if it is audited enough

Well? Is it?

>Update 9/29: Our favorite infosec expert (whom we’ve cited before on a few matters) SwiftOnSecurity, let us know today that Ungoogled Chromium is a student project and doesn’t have the ability to update itself (and likely hasn’t been updated.) In that regard, we can’t recommend it. She recommends Brave if you’d like an alternative.

I have no particular clue about this topic, but from what I can gather, it's much more about the hypervisor software than it is about M$ botnet10. One of the things you're looking for is 'virtual machine escape'. If Microsoft found and exploits a vulnerability in your specific hypervisor software, they could potentially break out. You cannot control W10 in that regard, it's a designed botnet, but you can control what kind of hypervisor software you run and HOW you run it.

google hypervisor security. secure that shit as much as you can. assume the worst from W10. control and restrict as much as you can. if you find a decent way to reproduce it, consider sharing it so others may benefit from it. good luck.
>>
they only provide binaries for debian stretch, not for jessie.
guess i'll wait

It's like no one read the link and just started opining. Project almost has a year resting in peace.

Stop lying on the Internet.
>>
>>61004699
Windows version lagging way behind which makes it unreliable due to unplugged security holes which can be exploited by attackers.
>>
>>61005392
I tried Brave once and got blown out the ass with memory leaks. I'm not sure if you're trying to advocate using it for your normielife or as a more private browser, but frankly I wouldn't use it for either.
