Get a new phone when your current one stops working.

When my Note 4 started having issues, I switched to an unlocked Huawei Mate 9. It's around the same size physically, but with a larger 5.9 inch screen and an insane 4,000 mah battery (not accessible unfortunately) which easily lasts me two days. Still has the micro SD slot. Huawei was also nice enough to include a thin snap case for easier grip, and a pre-applied screen protector.

The n4 has enough power for the next 10 years, have it myself. My note is fucked tho and i somehow was able to get it through the emmc error shit that all firmware fucked phones had, works now but only with wake lock enabled, otherwise it reboots when taking pics and freezes when waking from standby.

Nope. Keep it.

The only thing that might slow you down is e inevitable eMMC failure but I've been using mine since launch with zero issues. Can easily see myself using it till 2020 or more.

Its the emmc memory error that apeared when samshit threw out an unoptimized update and fucked truckloads of phones.

Im happy with my own n4, its big, fast and the resolution is awesome. I got mine for 60€ because it didnt turn on. Put it into the freezer and it turned on, reflashed and now its good.
