kinda agree here. I mean you could still encrypt everything which solves the ISP issue at least, but you can't get around intel ME which is literally a below-OS level chipset backdoor with access to your networking interface.

not going into detail here because this can easily be googled, but the way RSA works is everyone can see your public key, use it to encrypt a message and only you can decrypt it with your private key which you don't send anyone
