Why is Google Chrome such a piece of shit?
Literally:
1. Eats up too much rap, even with tab suspending extensions.
2. When you have it open, it won't let MacBook Pro sleep.
3. Literal bloatware even at version 59 or whatever it's at.
What the fuck is wrong with Google?
>eats up too much rap
go away tyrone
>>60983822
>eats rap
You mean memory
>macbook pro
t. IToddler slave to the iJews
>bloatware at v. 59
Google Chrome is normie cancer. 59 versions too many

>>60983822
It's good on Windows, but on OS X it shits itself after a dozen tabs
Firefox runs better on OSX, but I stopped using it after Mozilla decides diversity was more important than quality
>>60983822
>Eats up too much rap
ram, and firefox does too.
>won't let MacBook Pro sleep
this sounds more like a problem on your side, op
>Literal bloatware
what bloatware? even comes with less crap than firefox.
I reinstalled it after Firefox 54 came out, Chrome runs way faster/less cpu on my laptop.
>>60983957
10/10
>>60983822
There's something wrong with your system. Chrome doesn't use that much memory on macOS and it certainly doesn't prevent it from sleeping
>>60983979
Yes, unlike google where money is the only thing that matters.
>>60983979
>on OS X it shits itself after a dozen tabs
I use Chrome with usually 40 tabs on macOS and it works perfectly fine. How did you manage to fuck up an idiot-proof browser?
>>60984422
>>60983822
chrome wont let computer sleep under windows if there is some Webrtc video embedded in one of the open webpages
>>60984384
there's more chance website wont be fully rendered in Chrome but it's way faster and it feels "lighter" because mozilla would choke on some internal memory bloat or something
>>60983839
Wow I made a type. This definitely nullifies the OP.
Faggot kys.

Show us google chrome handling 40 tabs on a macbook.
Show RAM percentage as well.
>>60984716
I might do you if you got a little fatter and shave the hair. Then I could pretend you are a fat chick and your ass is her smelly pussy
>>60984422
No it doesn't. It won't let Sierra sleep.
Safari is a far better browser, but I prefer Chrome extensions.
>>60984757
Nigga gets some help.
>>60984752
Using Chromium right now, but it was the same when using Chrome. Perfectly smooth with 35-45 tabs, and my Macbook is 7 years old.
>>60984845
>No it doesn't. It won't let Sierra sleep.
Then there's something wrong with your system, because it always goes to sleep fine for me with Chrome open, and if it were a common thing there'd be a high priority bug report about it.
>>60984880
I've tried everything it just won't sleep. And if I plug the power in it just keeps going to sleep them waking up. I ran some terminal commands and it says Chrome is preventing it from sleeping.
It's literally a piece of shit browser.
>>60984914
Again, works for me. You're fucking something up. Maybe you installed some really bullshit extension.
>>60983822
put in more ram then, 100+ tabs no issues with 12gb ram on windows(tm)
What are some must-have Chrome extensions?

>>60983957
You know, instead of bitching about Chrome on /g/, you could've installed The Great Suspender and uBlock.
I only have 4 GB of ram and yet Chrome feels lightweight after installing those two extensions.
>>60989030

UnloadTab for Firefox, if anyone cares.

Two things I don't like about Chrome:
-Scrolling drop down menus on web sites is absolute shit. Not smooth, jumps too fast.
Also:
>opens new tab to get into settings, extremely confusing settings
