Okay so, got laid off, have enough to just coast for a few months. I wanna dabble in things in that time.
So, Etherium mining, I'm gonna do a dual R9 270 setup with a server board and Xeon. What mining rigs do we got gong on here??

Get dedicated mining hardware and just mine bitcoin. I say bitcoin because the other currencies are too unstable, and dedicated mining hardware is the only thing that'll give you an acceptable power/hash ratio.

Oh and don't expect decent returns, maybe 100/month profit if you're lucky. With more hardware comes greater power costs
