This is my 1700 at stock, with no GPU support.

When chrome is open for a long time it drops frames more often, but I fresh open of chrome it doesn't. This also might be do not down to the fact that I have an Nvidia GPU in there too, I might turn hardware acceleration off.

I'm the towns 8K guy, I just try doing the Peru 60 frames per second and 8K but my Internet can't buffer it and when it hits the buffer and adds drop frames. When it has a buffer doesn't drop any frame so it seems to be more of a buffer issue than my computer can't handle it.

It tells you dropped frames. Meaning if it says 0/X you have dropped 0 frames, but if it says 100/X you have dropped 100 frames. It doesn't reset when you change resolution so it's best to set it and then refresh the video.

Barely hitting 30% CPU usage on Edge with the Xeon 1231-V3 which has slower clocks than the 4000 series i7s and doesn't have quicksync either.

Can't even do 4K in chrome without shit hitting the fan.

No dropped frames, no buffering at all. 100mbps FTTB here.

Firefox struggles to load the video for me. I noticed in the stats that it defaults to vp9, which would rape most CPUs.

The video ran flawlessly in 8k when run in H264+AAC on my filter-heavy mpv setup. Downscaling the video to 1080p makes it look incredibly sharp.

I have a ~50Mb/s capped connection at uni but for some reason youtube-dl downloads this video at 100MB/s (800Mb/s).
I just downloaded 2.7GB in about 25 seconds.
I checked and the whole video is there, it's not some kind of bug.
Just did a speed test and am still only getting about 60Mb/s on the two sites I tried.
What the fuck kind of witchcraft is youtube-dl using and how can I get that kind of speed normally?
