There's no such thing.

Chromebooks are lightweight linux machines if you use Crouton, cheap and can handle youtube and word processing properly without much strain. Storage is a pain and so is ARM tho

I'm not a /g/ regular, so I can't keep up with the autism. Why are chrimebooks shit? They seem like a pretty good bang for the buck to me
>>60964132
becaues i can't install random weeb shit or things of that nature on it.
what if one day i want to use a gamecube emulator to play pikman, what then.

I prefer the X series.
If you are a student, get a used one, you save a lot of money this way.
If you just need to pick a model for your work, I would get the new model, spec it to your needs and most important part: get the dock and multiple chargers.
It is really great to never put the charger in your bag unless you are using it on the road.

Why not? I'm a tourist from another board, sorry.

They aren't shit if all you're gonna do is browse and watch videos. Build Quality is trash, Celery processors or ARM, glued SSDs with low capacity, trash screens and high prices compared to slightly older StinkPads or 1337Books

he's fucking with you, most Linux distros work fine with Crouton especially Gallium.
Thoughts on ThinkPad X270? Looks pretty good.
