Why would you want to run with headphones. Its so nice to just hear the nature around you... The sounds of the forest, chirping birds, the wind on the grass.

There are, but I believe most if not all are shit. One benefit are smart watches that can store and play songs though.

I had the one made by Sony. Best player I've ever had, and not that expensive. The new version also has Bluetooth so you can connect to a smartphone. It's dust and waterproof, you can even swim with it (the Bluetooth won't work when swimming cause water isn't easily penetrated by the em waves). I strongly recommend it.
