So i'm trying to edit a couple songs together and i want to remove this applause at "in the flesh" pink floyd. At the last 3 seconds

Does anyone know if that possible? And what do i have to do, i have audacity is that enough?
replace with silence or fade it out in audacity

Problem is there's also stil music playing over it at first, how can i silence solely the cheering?
Find the master tracks online, dunno if they exist though

Don't fuck up a masterpiece, just don't…

You could transform it to the frequency domain with an fft, remove as much of the "noise" as possible and then transform it back.
Then fade it out so it is less noticeable

this, but i'm not sure that the applause are on a unique frequency. he could cut some important frequency doing that

>trying to remove the applause

I mean, i agree but the shouting is part of the album concept, this one ll be out of context.

I don't understand can you explain in audacity terms? Please..

I'm afraid of this as well, also i think the mastertracks are no, not available
Hey op just go on ahead and change the order of the songs on DSOTM while you're at it.
>>60938913
HEY! OP! Leave those tracks alone!
>>60941622
OP causes artist starvation
>removing a part of a concept album
that doesn't even make sense

mark the end bit where there is cheering and no music
select effect -> reduce noise
click get profile
mark the bit where you want to remove it
effect -> repeat (ctrl+r)
It removes most of it.

Thanks, i'll try- i guess w/o mastertapes it can't be perfectly done anyway..
