Writing Utensils tread.
I need a new Mechanical Pencil that doesn't suck.
I was using the Lamy 2000 Mechanical Pencil and I really liked it nice weight and it actually looked decent but the mechanism started to really fuck up and not feed lead often and I got kind of sick of that.
I got a Kuru Toga but Its honestly not that great, the rotating mechanism makes the tip feel... off center.
Any suggestions for a Mechanical Pencil that doesn't suck?
Other Writing Implements are also welcome to be discussed.

Why a pencil? just get a pack of precise v5's at the local store or some shit.

I've already got good pens.
>buy a Levenger 3.0
>Literally perfect in everyway
>It sucks dick at actually putting ink on the paper when you need it too
I want this crushing sadness to end. This thing is so awesome, but you have to spend a solid minute just scribbling after wetting the nib to actually get it working right.

Have you tried a Lubricated ink?
Honestly, Zebra m-301. they are cheap, well built and will last forever. the only downside is a somewhat shitty eraser, but only noobs need to erase, or dont have a designated eraser.

Some people say that Levenger's ink is lubricated. And to be fair, once you get it flowing that shit flows but it has a very inconvenient buffering time as it between when you take it out to write and when you can use it to start actually putting ink on paper.

Hmm.
Dunno what to tell you.

That's exactly how I feel, this thing is amazing but I honestly feel like I have to say, "Hang on a minute I need to autistically doodle and wet my nib before I can sign that receipt and hold up the line for everyone."
God damn thing is a monster in terms of function and design but the ink issue just let's it down and I want to cry. I guess I will keep poking around for some suggestions

>fountain pen
my nibba, you don't have to worry about appearing autistic for having to wet your nib because you're using a fountain pen to sign receipts in the first place.

Anyways, you cant go wrong with Staedtler Mars.
I ordered a graph gear 1000 and a kuru toga. Did I do good?
