Are hybrid harddrives worth getting over standard hard drives? Or is there performance similar enough to a standard hard-drive that they are not worth using?

They are basically just a hard drive with a small SSD in the same case. But you don't get to pick what goes on that SSD in most cases the hard drive does it for you by seeing what you use most. So to answer your question, no. It's actually cheaper to buy a hard drive and a SSD separately, for what you are actually getting.
The one in my laptop was shit and the HDD kept spooling up and down whenever the computer was idle for longer then half a second. Annoying as shit.

Its slightly less to buy a firecuda then buy a separate SSD and HDD but not by much.
What SSD brands are OK?
SSHDs are retarded, just get an SSD large enough for your OS and programs and an HDD large enough for everything else

Always thought of them as HDDs with a bigger cache
Just get a real SSD
