>27" 1440p is too small
>1440p ultrameme is not only short, but also offer less horizontal space than two 16:9s
>1600p ultrameme is slightly better but also not as wide as two proper monitors
>40"+ 4k are riddled with hardware problems
Is 32" 1440p the best solution right now?
38" 21:9 1600p is the best right now. It's the highest you can get in resolution without windows shitty scaling
Get a 4K telly

There are like two models, both are bent and cost over twice as much as 1440p UWs.

Price you gotta pay for near perfection

honetsly i dont get it
27" 720p is more than enough, 1080p is pushing it
i never got 4k. I have a 4k monitor. Are you supposed to scale? Like windows 150%? I like 4k no scale, but text is tiny as fuck. If I go 150% its just a 1080p screen and 4k videos look the same as 1080. What am I missing.

>27" 1440p is too small
lol are you blind?
I use 1440p on a 25" screen daily and have done for over a year and half without any issue and no GUI scaling.
Hey guys. I wanna get this monitor I'm in love with but it's difficult to justify the price.
Acer XF270HU
27"
1440p
144hz
IPS
Freesync
Portrait mode
$400
It hits all the right notes except for the price. I know it's not a bad price for what you're getting but I've never spent so much on a monitor before.
Alternatively I'm looking at this other one but I really feel like I'd just be settling for second rate if I went with this. Already have a 23" so it won't feel like much of an upgrade.
Acer XF240H
24"
1080p
144hz
TN
$150

I would personally go with:
31" - 34"
1440p or 1600p ultrawide
120hz+
HDR
Freesync
Vesa mount
IPS
It's kind of amazing that this monitor doesn't already exist desu

who is this fighter qt?
>>60902371
Best is what I use of course, which is 24" normal + 34" ultra wide. Try to beat it.
>>60905172
Your meant to scale genius.
>>60902371
>27" 16:9 is too small
no
Yes. Because 32" 1440p is the same pixel density as glorious 24" 1080p.
>>60902371
Do what I did, opt for an interim solution until the perfect monitor comes down in price:
32" QNIX IPS 4k DP + HDMI 2 + crappy speakers and a remote control.
$379.00 and only a few dead pixels.
Wonderful for programming.

4k under 40" is pointless because you have to scale like a cuck.
