Source, I put my 480 8gb (sapphire aib which is the worst) for 1hr on ebay and it sold @ $560CAD ($423 USD). The only downside is you will be stranded without a gpu till things cool down.

If you have an RX480/580, just use it to mine when you're not doing anything. You can make a couple hundred bucks a month doing basically nothing. Just stop mining whenever you're gayming or whatever. Use the profit to buy a back ordered second card. Mine with both til ethereum dies and then just crossfire them.

So is that based on the assumption that Ethereum is going to continually grow in value? How long until the difficulty increases? Don't know a whole lot about mining but wouldn't a dramatic increase in miners cause the difficulty to rise? (just an uneducated guess from me)

I'd like to, but I bought my 480 to have something until Vega. I'm not selling it until I have Vega in my house, at which point it's probably not worth that much anymore.
