My wired mouse occasionally freezes for a split second. basically the pointer jumps and lags for a split second like once every hour - few hours
It seems to happen randomly and happens with any USB port and my other mouse. Its not a big deal, but annoying, and also messes me up in games. Im on Win 7
Any idea what it can be?
Ram?
malware? (i dont download weird files and i use windows anti-malware)
Drive? (Im using SSD for OS and checked it for errors, It seems fine)
Windows update / Win Installation
Ill probably replace the mouse and reinstall windows, but I wanted to see if anyone has an idea of what it can be. Im hoping its not a dying SSD or motherboard
Don't replace the mouse until you test it on another computer

i dusted out my PC and re inserted my ram / SATA cables. hopefully it was just a slightly loose ram or something, I dont think it's the mouse itself. lets see if it holds up
>windows 7
>2017
that's probably why
happened to my friends nala too. couldnt find a fix. razor shit is great until it dies 2 years later

its weird because i moved around the cable and it doesnt do anything, but randomly it jumps/lags. so it feels like it's not a physical problem with the mouse/cable, but i could be wrong

It might be something with the drivers
Also tho
>windows Anti-Malware
You asked for this
Are there any services that have control of your mouse? If it only happens in games then there might be a different issue.

This is such a great mouse. I have it with zero issues, and will buy the exact same one the next time I upgrade.

This was just happening for me too. Tried a different mouse in the same USB port, no more freezing.
i had the same problem. i fixed it with logitechs detection/setting software.

I had the same problems especially in Arma and Civ. >>60890460
Are you using OP pic?
im using an amazon mouse btw, and its at least a year old. using generic drivers
i guess OP died
so far it seems good, I took out my ram and put it back. do you think that actually fixed it?
Does your mouse also sometimes disconnect completely until you remove it and plug it back in? My pic related might be dying from old age though

im convinced that this worked. I never realized that re-inserting connections will reset and clean them
You don't have a wired mouse, OP. It's actually a wireless mouse with the receiver in the USB plug, and the cable is just for power. What you are experiencing is wifi lag when the mouse goes into power down standby mode.
Serious suggestion: are you plugging it into a USB3 port? I find Win7 doesn't handle USB3 very well all the time. When I move devices over the USB2, it all works flawlessly, but slower in the case of storage drives.

I love that mouse. So great for browsing web and even bound some buttons for ease of use for my Java class.

Cable about to fail.
New chink cable is like $3 on ali, takes 10 min to replace. While at it also order new pads.
