What will happen when boomers die off and nobody clicks on ads anymore?

COMPLETE CHAOS!!!! SHORT GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK NOW!!!! TO THE MOON MY NIGGAH!
/pol/ / the_dofus will take their place
More native ads.
You'd be surprised how bad young people are with technology now. Smart devices have made younger people dumber than the boomers when it comes to technology. The future nerds hoped for where everyone is some what tech literate is not happening.

Ad agencies have been screaming "Advertising is Dead" for a decade.
Shilling and sponsored content and events is the new frontier.
Look at what redbull has done for its brand by associating itself with adventure sports that usually dont get sponsors. Now redbull has a loyal community because it feeds their passion.
Expect more of this and intel shills on /g/

this, you thought boomers were bad with technology, you haven't seen current day kids
there's a sucker born every minute
i read this book, it was about a late-stage capitalist society where everything was digital and everyone was saving their money for a ticket to a digital wonderland (like the matrix but not dystopian)
basically ad companies were just people who analyzed social networks for local "alphas" and pay them small amounts of money to promote products to their friends.
one specific part i remember was when a teenager complains that he didn't get a bonus deposited into his account after he offered a cigarette and an ad-guy said "you have to say the slogan for the bonus"
pretty fucked up shit but i feel like it's exactly where we're headed. just look at instagram girls. small-time fame just because they have lots of followers, do nothing but say shit their followers want to hear, occasionally drop a product

Have you ever been on this website...it's called 4chan? At least a quarter of the posts you see here are paid shills. That is the future.
I will give you an example!
The other day I was on /gif/ looking for porn. I noticed an Eva Lovia thread. I entered it only to find that this pornstar has finally done an anal scene. The thread was made the same day said scene was released and contained unreleased content from future scenes that no-one should have. It was absolutely made to advertise said scenes.

Maybe the mainstream majority, but at the same time anyone can write a small script to do something they need with stack overflow query, if I was my age in the 80's I doubt I would have learned any BASIC, but I know a basic amount of python today
