This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

i bought an rgb key board it has all the lighting effects controlled through an FN key. I want to be able to adjust the rgb's to an specific color of my choosing. there is no software for it.

it is an RK pro104. what would i have to do as far as coding or programing to do this? or will it much more complicated than that?

Sawter some wires to the leds and add a raspberry pi and some code to control it

The RK108 has fully programmable rgb lighting for 20 bucks more. Why didn't you buy that?

Getting all the LEDs to be a custom color should be easy

There's your problem.

Mine has programmable lighting too. I can customize any key to be one of 7 colors and there's a a bunch of effects too. But your stuck with whatever colors and effects are preinstalled. I want to make my keyboard all orange, but that isn't one of the color options. I know it can produce orange because I can see it when I slow down the rainbow effect.

That's what I want to do, be able to choose my own color by entering different RGB values like most other RGB components that have software.

the G610 and G413 arent even RGB theyre just have LED back lighting. the G213 is RGB but i wanted a mechanical keyboard.

You would either need to change the microcontroller on the keyboard, try to reverse engineer the software that drives it and inject your own code into it, or write your own driver.

any guides out there on how to do that?
and how would i know which one id have to do?
