OP's list is also free. :/
I only have experience with Adobe Premiere and Kdenlive (which is shit), how do the other FOSS alternatives stack up?
>>60841910
Why are there so many?
Are they easy to start (Developing) but hard to finish?
Premiere Pro

One of the reason is GTK/Qt and the frameworks that they're using.
But I don't think the amount of non-linear video editors are so many in Linux.
Adobe Premiere as I am not a poorfag

FinalCut X. It's by far the easiest and most powerful of the bunch.
>>60843591
Good for you.
Sorry OP, but outside Premiere Pro, Avid, Final Cut Pro or even Sony Vegas there a no good alternatives if you're serious about video editing

I may agree with you however, why not Lightworks as it's used on King's Speech for example.

Woah. That was awesome!

I use Adobe Premiere and Avid like a normal human beign.

There's Edius developed by the japanese however it's more common in the broadcast, not exactly targeted at mainstream.

Video editing? Sony Vegas Pro. Easy to use, lots of functions.
I'm just starting to edit videos so, Adobe Premiere it is for general editing, and I use DaVinci Resolve to color correct my footage.
Vegas if you're not doing something over the top
Premiere if you need lots of effects
