>I need my calculator to set up all my work for me! I can't think! Waaah!
There's a reason the Nspire is banned from every undergraduate exam that exists. It does all the work for you.
They're all garbage and exist only because of the monopoly created by education contracts.
The hardware is incredibly cheap, most run on a Z80.

Graduating next spring with a BS in Mathematics
The only people who use anything beyond an 84 or 89 are the ones who are consistently sucking up the TA's time asking them to re-explain every detail the lecture just covered.

The nspire really doesn't do everything for you. The people in your class (including you) must be idiots.

Just want to add that the Equation Writer FlashApp (not ASM version) is included in this archive, as well as every TI-hosted FlashApp, calculator signing keys, paid version of Graph 89 APK, and even a third party circuit simulator (real calc with serial needed, keygen incl).
>>60834015
It was the only logical conclusion.
>>60833866
Confirmed, Finance/Econ grad here.
Ti-89 is even overkill. I haven't done a single math problem I couldn't either write out or assist with some off-paper calculations on my Ti-84 Plus CE

High schools in my area have been using nspires for 6+ years. The 84/89 is clumsy in comparison.
>>60833996
I've had my Ti-84 Plus since highschool and I'd probably buy a used one off Kijiji if I lost mine. Others are fancy and shiny, but I don't feel like dedicating time to relearn how to use a calculator.
Playing Tetris is pretty fun on it as well.
>>60834369
poo, meet loo
>>60834829
Must've been nice going to a non-ghetto highschool. We didn't have enough Ti-83's for everyone in a 30 student classroom.
>>60834789
You're fucking retarded, college is a thing.
>programmable calculators
>need them for school
I got through an engineering degree with a TI30Xa. All of my math courses banned any kind of calculator and all of my engineering classes banned programmable calculators.
If your professors are testing you on punching numbers in a calculator and not on the actual subject then your professors suck

Casio has helped me through highschool and so on. It's over 15 years old now and still works as good as new.
Go fuck yourself retard
>>60833838
are you kidding me in exams graphing calculators are all banned since high school and you can only use a scientific calculator. you have to do the hard work yourself.

49 and 50G were better. The prime doesn't do what it needs to do to compete with TI.
As to how HP ever lost traction to TI beats me. There were even software packages for engineering and surveying that ran into the hundreds of dollars for the 49 and 50G. You'd have to be a retard to lose when you have such a market.

There are no uses for a graphing calculator. For students its a crutch. Professionals use charts or a computer. A plain scientific calculator will suffice for everything. Schools want you to buy these... Because they were told to i guess.
