US courts have already ruled emulation is legal as long as it's reverse engineered, plus most of Intel's x86 patents are expired anyway. Intel's lawyers are going to get holocausted.

The worst part for Intel is that normally when lawsuits like this come, even after the emulatee loses they can bully the smaller company out of the market, Qualcomm is a big company with contracts with Microsoft and other Windows OEM, bullying Qualcomm out is not an option for Intel.
