i have laptop with a gtx 460m gpu. I'd like to get a 4k tv to use as secondary monitor...cause all the extra pixels and space could help with my work. I'm not sure if this gpu will be able to output via hdmi to the 4k monitor at 4k or uhd, on top of full hd.
using debian 9 if that matters.
what do?

returning the tv would only get me store credit to buy something elese, not the actual money back.

like will i be able with xrandr or some tools to set the hdmi monitor at native 4k resolution? or its limited by the gpu? cause im pretty sure its not officially supported as its a old gpu.
