Just Snagged an old 2007 MacBook pro off of eBay for 50$, it works fine, but the OS is so outdated and useless with anything internet related. There is also a password already attached to it. Is my best bet just a factory reset? Or should I use it as a cup holder?

Wrong.
t. Mac OS X Tiger user
>password
If it's a firmware password I believe you can get past that by removing the PRAM battery, if you just mean the account on the OS has a password, there are multiple ways around that that you can easily find by using your search engine of choice.

If it is to the user account you can still use the computer, it is to the EFI/boot you basically got a $50 paperweight.
That keyboard looks nicer than what apple is selling now.

If it's the same keyboard that's on PowerBook G4s, that's my favourite laptop keyboard.
>tfw apple removed an entire core of the powerbook G4 because it would make core duo look bad.

What? there were no dual-core G4 processors.
