Hey, /g/. I'm trying to edit 20000px 1200dpi images, and opening them in photoshop murders my computer and makes it freeze up for like 10 minutes.

I have a 1080 ti graphics card, so I'm fairly sure that's not the reason my PC is getting bottle necked. What do I need to buy in order to easily deal with these large images? Is it the processor?

Could it actually be a ram issue? I'm pretty sure my mother board does have ram slots available.

It probably is, but check the RAM usage while opening the image just to be sure.

Yeah, that seems to be in. My memory and disk space use shoots to 99% when I try to open the image with photo shop.
