What's the best laptop for ~$1000
My current laptop is on its last leg, almost literally, and I need to a new one. I've got about $1300 to spend on it but I'd prefer not to spend it all. Nvidia is releasing new GPUs that are really thin so there's a bunch of new ones coming out later in June so I might wait, but I'm looking now anyhow.
I'm looking for something with a GTX 1060 or 1050ti, i5 or i7, 8-16GB ram, 15-17 inch. Usual stuff.

I go to uni 1200 miles from my house, can't move a desktop very easily. Though I'd definitely prefer one

I go to college in Boston, I'm from Missouri. I have a house off campus so I could just mail a desktop I guess
