Noob question. I would like to play sounds of white noise (rain, nature, fan) in my room. I would like it to sound the most natural way possible so it feels like it's real. What speakers would you recommand and how to choose ? What kind of installation does it require ? Where should I place the speakers in the room for best result ?

Thanks for answering. What would happen if I place the speakers at a 45° angle instead of 30° ? How much of a chance that would make ?

You need headphones + binaural recordings to achieve this effect.

an ideal stereophonic recording would then be pulled and squashed toward the outside edges with a hole in the middle, creating a weaker phantom center
some basic comparisons of different angle and distance differences:

I can't use headphones as I would mainly use to it while sleeping and that would be uncomfortable. However, binaural recording seems interesting. Isn't it possible to use binaural recordings with 2 speakers instead of headphones ?

Why ?

crosstalk ruins everything binaural. the channels for each ear have to be completely separated, which means headphones
