hey /g/ need some tips and advice.
Not really a phone person. I plan on finding a cheaper plan. My brother sold me his old iphone 5c for 15 bucks and I have it on straight talk for 45 bucks a month. The problem is I am a huge jew and 45 seems a lot when i hardly ever use the data and talk. I found a prepaid reseller offering 19 a month for unlimited talk and text and some paltry data or 10 bucks a month for 500/500 talk, text and 100 mb of data. How cheap can I go on a smartphone?
Second question, is it still possible to flash mobile hotspots with cheap phones and get unlimited or at least higher data caps and speeds?
I hear rumors and forum posts of people getting unlimited 3g for 5 bucks a month since verizon no long cuts it off but throttles lightly to 3g speeds when you go over your phones data cap.
