I've been using Chrome which I'm guessing is pleb tier.
Should I be using Firefox? With what addons to make it faster and safer?

Work your way through this lot:

Don't bother. Firefox will die soon.

Addons: random agent spoofer and ublock origin

this
Firefox is getting only worse every release. No point in using it after version 57 when they will remove add-on compatibility. Let that shit drown.

You should be using IceCat, you spend less time debotneting it than firefox.

I've been disliking firefox more and more. What would you recommend to replace it?

And what alternatives to chromium will you have? Midori? Qupzilla? :DDDD
Ungoogled chromium is exception and not reliable at all.
>inb4 tor
Tor isn't for daily use, yet.

Chromium is what I use, don't think there is anything better. I hate Google but there seems to be no better choice.
Nope, Chrome is the best and patrician, contrary to what plebs here would lead you to believe.
You made the right choice.

If it's not too much to ask could I get a quick rundown on chromium? Is there a specific build one should use?

>google pajeets have shitposted for months about Firefox addons being killed
>they've yet to name ONE relevant addon that won't be ported and doesn't have a compatible alternative

I use the latest version in the Ubuntu repos, so just the latest. Only add-ons I use are uBlock, HTTPS Everywhere and Stylish.
Any way to sync history/tabs with Chromium?
>tfw just spent an hour raging after Chrome's GARBAGE FUCKING BOOKMARK MANAGER deleted thousands of my bookmarks due to its retardation
>tfw this caused me to open up Firefox for the first time in years
>tfw importing what bookmarks I have left and marveling at how much how FF can actually handle basic operations with its BM
>still won't use FF because it's slower with worse addons
ours are dark times

>mfw FF automatically creates backups of your bookmarks
>wouldn't have lost anything if I'd been using it

Use Nightly instead.
