So /g/ents. I need your help. I've been doing web dev for 8 years, mostly C# ASP.NET and then MVC. I want to move away from MS tech. What should I learn?
Some things:
- I hate all the shit I have to do to "code" in JS. I've built a couple web apps in react/node and in Angular and it's always been hell. Too many fucking layers. If there's a simpler JS framework, fine. But I've yet to hear of one.
- I'm assuming no one's gonna suggest PHP but, just in case, if you were gonna: don't.
Pic related: how I feel trying to figure out JS libraries/frameworks.
Why not Java? It's the greatest enterprise solution after Microsoft.
You can also use Python for some dope shit.

I like Golang for webdev,
Python is also pretty cool with Flask.
Front end you're going to NEED JS unfortunately.

Stop being web dev

I'm fine with doing regular JS stuff for front end. I just cannot and have no will to deal with a full JS stack.

Not an option friendo

PS: youre the second person i've seen mention golang today. Not sure if meme, but i'll check it out.
