>just gonna pirate this wine!

See how stupid that sounds? Yet you fuck tards believe in pretty much this, it's the same as stealing.

If you are not going to spend money on an item because it not "appealing" enough, then that makes stealing OK? What? "Well I wasn't going to pay for it anyways so it's not like I'm hurting you by just taking your product." Yes you are! You're taking a unit of their product. Sure, maybe you won't pay for it at first, but if the movie ends up being good then maybe you'll want to see the movie and then they have your sale. But if you have seen the movie alreadu then they get no sale from you you! You obviously have no economic knowledge on that regard.

Piracy is theft, you are taking from someone. It is no different then going to a store and taking a movie off the shelf. It does not benefit anyone but the pirate who decides he is too good to pay for things he want. Too good to get a job and earn the things you get. Piracy hurts the economy and loses jobs. So stop it.
>>
>don't mind me
>just pirating this copypasta
>>

Its not theft. You didnt stole anything. They just made a lot of copies and you got one. Same as rewritting a book and then giving it out to everyone.
If you would to be chatge for piracy they woudnt charge you for theft.

(Writting this on my phone while iam shitting, I am not checking my errors)

Be as mad as you want but I'm not paying 50k in licenses for my company. Plus several companies have opted FOR piracy since serveral softwares now have cloud-activation bullshit and causes a ton of validation headaches. (Funny how pirated copies work better.)

Plus I mention once in a while the software I use as a nod to the company.

You know you've fucked up as a software manufacturer when even the company that makes the software uses a pirated version just because it's easier
>>
>>60703182
B-But I'm stealing from shops, too! Is it ok for me to pirate then?
>>
The analogy is trickier than that
That particular bottle of wine you steal won't be available for anyone else now. But if it was software/code then you'd get a copy, leaving the original one intact
>>
Hi friend! It seems you've found 4chan's technology board! You made a few mistakes though, and I'm here to help out! :D

Boards other than /b/ have rules, as well as the global rules! Two important rules you might have missed are global rules six and three!

3. You will not post any of the following outside of /b/: Trolls, flames, racism, off-topic replies, uncalled for catchphrases, macro image replies, indecipherable text (example: "lol u tk him 2da bar|?"), anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images, post number GETs ("dubs"), or loli/shota pornography.

6. The quality of posts is extremely important to this community. Contributors are encouraged to provide high-quality images and informative comments.

It's okay friend, we all make mistakes!
>>
Piracy matters only to capitalist scum. Information wants and deserves to be free.

All hail glorious Communism and Piracy, access to technology only frees us.

Piracy is not theft, as there is no loss of property, only a loss of a sale. A better analogy would be sneaking into a movie theater. The theater makes no sale, but does not technically lose money or property.

I don't care, I won't support companies that still aren't up to date with technology.

If you steal a bottle of wine from a store then they've got one less bottle of wine.

If you copy a piece of software I've wrote then there's now two copies of it, you have one and I have one. If you then find that something missing from my software and you improve it and you send me those improvements then we both have better copies of the software.

If you can't tell the difference between copying a file and stealing a physical object then you're so retarded that you should kill yourself so you don't burden society with your stupidity.
>>
>>60703182

Faggot still intentionally ignores the fact that with piracy no item is removed from its owner at any point. There is a reason why pirating is a different word then stealing and no, they are not in any way synonymous.

If you really think this way about pirating than you're committing the same """crime'''''' by copy-pasting this bullshit without the consent of the original author.
